Microsoft Studios (Contracted)

Test Associate (I-II)

I started off on the project while it was still in pre-production, joining a small 6-person QA team for Microsoft Studios. During development, I got to collaborate with fellow QA and the Microsoft production team on creating test cases, sending out daily/weekly reports, and investigating bugs in the title. I developed a leadership role within our QA team as we on-ramped in size closer to development. I was responsible for helping train new hires, filling out documentation for our team, occasionally attending meetings to discuss the title, and being a go-to asset on the team for questions and task leadership.

I also had the opportunity to design our project’s end-user report system where we gathered feedback on the title and turned it into easy-to-read data charts to send off to the production team. Our end-user report garnered interest within Microsoft, and we ended up having the opportunity to collaborate with the UR team at Microsoft to design a report system that could be used across MS projects.

Assisted Resource:

While working on my core project, I assisted with test and QA for other projects in development at my office. I would participate in bug bashes and provide help with testing and reporting issues on the title when they needed extra eyes and hands.
